20th C. Mary Magdalene Statue, Oberammergau

Large early 20th century statue of Mary Magdalene. A reproduction statue after a Gothic 15th century example, made in Oberammergau. It is cast in a resin/sand mixed material, felt underneath. The wear and loss of the paint gives this statue an authentic appearance. Height 61 cm.

Condition: Good condition, commensurate with age

Groot vroeg 20ste-eeuws beeld van de Maria Magdalena. Een reproductie naar een voorbeeld uit de 15de eeuw, gemaakt in Oberammergau. Gegoten in een mix van hars en zand, met vilt onderop. De slijtage en het verfverlies geven het beeld een authentieke uitstraling. Hoogte 61 cm.
